Exercise Sky Screw
Indication
Suitable for lack of stability in the hip joint, e.g., in hip joint arthrosis, piriformis syndrome, in lumbar spine problems, e.g., muscular hernia, intervertebral disc problems and the absence of leg axis stability, e.g., internal knee pain, hallux valgus.
Purpose
Support of the three-dimensional physiological movement of the pelvis while walking.
Exercise
Starting position: standing on one leg. One leg is on the floor, the other on a chair. With 90% of your weight, you stand on the foothold. Push the head towards the ceiling and the heel of the loaded leg into the ground. Your weight stays in the middle of your foot. Through the overall muscular erection of the spine, the pelvis straightens, and it tilts and turns to the loaded leg side.
IMPORTANT: Imagine pushing your body up in a narrow tube. Thus, you can avoid lateral evasive movements.
Recommondation
When going up the stairs, take two steps at a time, and the movement will almost happen by itself.
